Hope your all doing well, I am good with full of energy and got my writing cap on. I went for shisha with two lots of ladies last night it was the desperate housewives of Dubai, love hanging with these ladies when I get the chance. I met LJ and the crew before I went to marina to meet the other girls, its so great being here the social circle is manic.
Well LJ had to give me more information on Jodie's life and what was going on, for those people who are behind and don't know this story. Jodie is my friend LJ's friend from London, who recently broke up with her long term boyfriend after she found him cheating on her with her best friend. She actually caught them in the action people, this was a devastating story and had me and the rest of us distraught.
Whenever you hear of the cheating issues firstly your glad that it's not you and then you fear your next. LJ has been living in fear since she heard about her best friend, so naturally anyone one of us would be, because this is a women's worst fear.
Jodie met a guy since then and has had a great time with him, they connect in ways she never knew they could, every time they message each other they write the same thing, they have the same taste in music clothes, humor. So as you can Imagine we are all happy for her, recently her ex turned up at her door with her dad, which she wasn't very happy about, Jodie said it was like being hit by the emotional bus again. Mr. Mystery the man she met was at her house the next day, as she never turned up or got back to him about meeting up that night.
So we left the story up to when they were eating pizza and drinking wine, they shared a passionate kiss and the night went well. The next day they arranged to meet for lunch, Jodie was glad Mr. Mystery had pulled her out of depression that night and she was more then happy to see him, as he did make her smile.
The next morning Jodie wore something classy but sexy, she dressed the way she used to in happier times. Jodie went to the office and looked like she had pulled her socks up and got her sexy back, what was coming Jodie's way was another disaster that she never saw coming.
She got lots of compliments at work, all the guys who work alongside her saw her in a different light, I mean lets face it Jodie was looking great. The time wasn't flying that day Jodie told LJ, when it finally came to lunch Jodie left to meet Mr Mystery.
They decided to go Pizza Express in central London as that's where they both work, Jodie often bumped into Mr Mystery there. She was so happy she was going to see him, after all he was the help needed at the time. They met outside and both were happy to see each other, once seated the conversation started flowing and flirting began. Mr Mystery is very direct and not a shy guy so he always gets to the point of the conversation, I think that's what Jodie must like about him.
Both were having a great time and then Mr Mystery paused for a moment, Jodie asked "are you alright, what happened , he replied "there's something about me that I haven't told you and I think we should be clear with each other". Jodie told LJ she thought yes too good to be true, something is going wrong now and she could feel it in his voice.
Mr Mystery told Jodie that he is married but has been separated for 6 months, well Jodie only heard that he was married and lost concentration after that. Mr Mystery called out to her and said "Jodie I said I am separated which means I'm not with my wife anymore". Jodie was silent and had a shocked look on her face, but eventually the questions started flowing.
She asked him why he never told her before, he said "you never asked". That was true Jodie never asked him and plus separated doesn't make it all that bad I reckon, well after Jodie got comfortable again she realized at least he is being honest with her. The honesty was to get more intense yet, after lots of laughs and comfort he says "I've been thinking about getting back with my wife for a while", Jodie thought what the hell I mean what more was to come into her life, couldn't she just meet someone less complicated for at least this time.
He did make clear he is thinking about it and meanwhile there is no harm in having some fun, Jodie had been beaten down so much she just thought what the hell, I like this guy he makes me laugh why not let loose. LJ told me she is not this type and for her to be this way is shocking, its amazing how much a cheating partner can turn your world around and your not even the same person anymore.
Mr Mystery also dropped he was going away for 4 weeks and would like to see her before and after, naturally Jodie was confused but she was slowly becoming a dare devil, she has nothing to loose so she agreed. I just think why can't Jodie just be able to find peace she's been through a lot and if this guy wasn't so complicated I would encourage it, I think she may get hurt again as Jodie is the type to wear her heart on her sleeve. LJ says she is always telling Jodie to be careful, men are men they don't know the devastation they leave behind.
Jodie has reassured LJ that she can handle this, but I personally disagree because the more she gets close to this guy the more disappointment she will have. On the other hand at least this time she knows that keep emotions out of this and enjoy, lets take a minute to reflect on what I always say, we are women we are made to have feelings and we may look strong and be strong, but we have no control over our heart which has a mind of its own.
After they had a very open conversation they left the way they met which was happy, no expectations or anything just a good time. When Jodie got back to the office she saw flowers had been delivered to her desk, she thought it was from Mr Mystery I think not. They were actully from her scumbag ex, with a heartfelt message saying "with all my love to my love, only now I realized your worth when it's too late and when I saw you I wanted you back more then ever, I love u more then life itself please forgive me".
Ahhh my heart bleeds for this twit, he needs to take a long walk off a short cliff hahahaha, anyway Jodie thought the same she ripped the card into tiny peices and threw the flowers in the bin. Jodie meant business, she told LJ out with the old and in with the new, you go girl.
Well that is it for today, if you think that's all your wrong trust me there is so much more to tell and so many terrible twists that even I feel like flying over and giving her a big hug. How much can a women be able to take until she breaks, in Jodie's case it doesn't stop.
