Hello world,

Well let's start the day with some catching up, yes today I'm back in the running mode, nice and clean and right now I'm at my friends. She has fired up the barbecue, and we're having some chicken burgers very healthy hahahha, I just thought sod it lets enjoy a little.

Anyway forget the barbecue, lets talk about where I went on Tuesday night, if your familiar with Dubai you would know on a Tuesday its ladies night, which means that drinks and entry into any club is free for us ladies.

In England we don't get these sort of privileges, we just cue in the cold and for those girls who barely wear any clothes god help them in England. 

We went to the VIP room in the JW Marriott Marquis, this 72 story glamorous hotel is beautiful, its looks amazing at night when it lights up and the inside of the hotel is very grand.

I wrote to the VIP room so I could blog about them, I was invited with my friends and had my name on the guest list with a table. All the girls who made it were looking forward to this, I wanted to check out the new hotel and this was my chance to do it. The excitement is always high, when a girl gets the chance to dress up and glamorize herself, especially if that girl is me.

The selfie in the lift, always important to show you guys what I'm wearing in full view. I don't just take these pictures for fun, well actually that is part of it, but it's mainly to show you the glamour for the day.

Just outside the club, I actually wanted to show you the lighting because it was matching my outfit.

This is me and cheeky Adriana, in the lobby forgot what I was laughing at, knowing me I don't really need a excuse.

The bottle display behind me was awesome, this was the bar area near the lobby as we were passing by.

I'm a sucker for flowers, this arrangement was breathtaking.

This is all of us waiting to go inside for a night to remember.

As soon as we got in snacks were served and free drinks were flowing, luckily for us we don't drink but juices and soft drinks can get a person high as well.

Here's the hostesses singing their sexy voices off, the lady with the flower was the event manager. She was lovely and made us so comfortable that we just couldn't stop singing.

So here I am singing with this little powerhouse, the story of the night was that I had been told the theme was pretty little singers, so like any normal person I thought right there's a band singing live.

The girls were ready for that sort of night, where you can sit back relax and watch someone sing to you, well no no no the pretty little singers was going to be us hahahaha. It was a karaoke with a menu of songs at your table, so we reluctantly took the mike, my friend got some courage and went for a Justin Timberlake song. That was a disaster, he sings too fast there was no way we could have kept up.

Anyway then I got excited and thought what the hell no one knows me here, so I'm going to sing, so I picked ABBA- Gimme gimme gimme. Oh god once we got started we wouldn't give anyone else a go, the hostess would practically run from us whenever we wanted to do the next song.

It was so funny I was in fits of laughter, I was holding onto my friend while singing and she was getting hot, she would flick my arm I would hold her and that went on in every song. I found it really funny, so I kept doing it to annoy her, she's so lovely she didn't yell at me at all. We had the best night ever and because it was all ladies, we danced and sang and when someone else was singing, we would shout the song out. 

The funny part was how the hostesses just took the mike from us, in the end thinking hell these women sound like cat's getting strangled. I asked the girls shall I audition for X-Factor or Arab Idol they all shouted "nooooooo". Oh dear I must say it felt like the Sex in the City 2 scene, when they all sang in a similar situation.

In Dubai there are so many ways of having fun with your girls, its the New York and Las Vegas of the middle east.

I had to snap some lovely looking ladies, bless them they were minding their own business at the bar, I just said "hey ladies you look hot can I take a picture of you and blog about you". They agreed and I didn't ask twice.

Some more beautiful ladies, the one in the black had a awesome voice and was wearing some Louboutins, that never goes un-noticed to me.

This sexy lady in the green sang a Celine Dione song from the film Titanic, she was even more awesome, but she was the best looking and best singer for the night, so a round of applause for this chica.

She was working it for me, she looked great and so pretty in person and in the pictures.

Her beautiful friend in the blue was also very attractive, well dressed and was lovely to talk to.

If I am to say did I have a good time, that would be an under statement, we had a awesome time and left laughing it was the kind of night that us girls should go and enjoy. I'm no Tina Turner but I know how to live for the moment and have a good time, the best part was all my friends were game to give it a try, even though we all sounded crap.

I hope their are more nights like this, I don't care if I can't sing, but I know how to laugh and enjoy my time and thanks to the VIP room and the hostesses, we felt comfortable enough to want to snatch the mike, so it must have been a good night.

Ladies give the VIP room a try and become of the Pretty Little Singers, who can or can't sing but have a good time in the process.

Oscar de la Renta

Good afternoon people,

I am feeling so shattered today, I will explain that in the next post but for now a small fashion flash for you all. For those of you who know me Oscar de la Renta is my favorite gown designer, I had to show you this gown. 

It's absolutely gorgeous, the color is my personal favorite and the lace material sits and flows perfectly.

I hope you all love the gown as much as I do, its very elegant and classy. As I was walking by I had to take a picture and show you this dress, I couldn't even look at the other displays, this dress caught my eye and wouldn't let go.

This dress would look lovely with a up do, some simple make-up, as the dress needs to do the talking and strappy sandals. You won't be able to see the shoes, but in case you do wear something chic.

Mr RIGHT or Mr RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!!!!

Hello world,

I just got out of bed now, I know some call me lazy, but in my defense it's my day off training, so I am going to enjoy it. The weather is perfect in Dubai these days, sun is bright and the evenings are breezy, the breeze touches you saying as it goes by, that it its here to stay.

Today I am touching on a subject which needs to be discussed, yes you guessed right, Men. I would pay top dollar to get into the mind of a man, to know what the hell goes on in the nutcase hahahaha. I mean they are bright, but when it comes to women total losers. I am talking about the majority not minority, so if your a man who is pleasing his women, you're the minority that I'm not talking about.

So the title is Mr. right or Mr. right now, the meaning of that connects to our emotional state, you see us women were made to be loved and cared for, we seek companions and are scared of being alone. Its a fact we say you don't need a man, but if your honest with yourself, being loved and loving is the best feeling ever. We women feed from that, I love the women who know how to treat them mean and keep them keen, but this isn't the goal for every women.

Our problem I can tell you, is we wait for their messages we wait for their calls, if they don't reply we don't sleep and if they do, we sleep like baby's. Don't tell me this isn't true, because the reason I am writing this blog today, is because I keep discovering our neediness for attention and love. I have seen close friends go through this and I won't lie I am the same in many ways.

What we are finding hard to do is not give a shit, its true how many of you don't care when you don't get a reply and don't say "I don't". Be true to yourself, you all know nearly all of us are like that, this isn't a bad thing ladies it only makes us human, I'm not here to make you hate yourselves, actually quite the opposite.

What I want is for us to self reflect, accept and find a way to make us happier and manage the situation. I want this for us all including me, to be able to live without upsetting ourselves on why men don't care. After a man has got you as wife or girlfriend, the challenge is over and he becomes comfortable, that's why his eye wonders, if he's faithful he doesn't bother paying attention to you because your his now.

Well why can't we become like them, if you can't be that way, you can sure pretend. By doing this you will be training yourself into this, with time becoming more easy going, with the fact that man is lazy unless he's chasing you.

I read a story about JLO, you all know who she is right, Jennifer Lopez. Well she has moved from man to man in search of love, when I read her story last night, only made it even more apparent that we may be rich, or poor thin or curvier, we are women in search of love and love being in love. She has apparently broke up with her boyfriend of 2 years, he is 26 and she is hitting her forties.

JLO's problem is somewhat the same she broke up with her husband Marc Anthony and 3 months later she got with her now boyfriend, who was her back-up dancer. The magazines say she hates being alone, well guess what?, that's all of us in a nutshell, being loved and being in love is what we do.

So don't feel bad, if JLO is feeling this way and she has all the money in the world, then we are allowed to feel that we are needy and always looking to be loved. So when your man isn't paying any attention to you, he isn't replying to your messages what to do?

Here's a breakdown of what I think you need to do:

• Firstly you need to pretend you don't care, you're thinking, how does that work, well if you have sent a message and you don't get a reply. Hold yourself back and don't send another, until you don't get a reply. Even when the reply comes through don't instantly reply, give it at least 30 minutes.

I have a friend who I was out with and she kept looking at her phone every 10 minutes or less, I was telling her don't do that. She didn't listen and kept saying he was online, on blackberry and Wattsapp and hasn't replied why, why, why. I told her to wait for him to reply and even though she was having fits, she waited and all was well. You see I know it's hard, but you are capable of doing this

•  Find a hobby or something to divert your attention, once he realizes your world doesn't revolve around him, he will start paying attention.

Men love the fact that we fuss over them, we are ready to give up everything for them, but they wouldn't cancel golf, footy or anything they love. So show them your the same. Act like a man and be a lady is the way to live.

• Pay attention to the way you look, if you look hot and aren't bothered and are busy imagine, he's going to think what the hell is going on.

Men are used to us needing them, once we make them realize we don't, they come running like puppies, trust me this never fails. Unless your man genuinely doesn't care and your ok with that, this won't flop.

I am giving you a simple three step formula try it and see, I could give you ten things to do, but My way of thinking is small steps can make the most impact if executed properly.

Also make clear to yourself who is Mr. Right and who is Mr. Right now. Mr. Right is your soul mate who you feel you can do anything for and it works both ways, and Mr. Right now is the man your with for the moment, he is the one not worth stressing over, he is the one who should be chasing you, so enjoy the moment with him, follow my steps and don't let this man stress you out. You should be making him stress over you, the way to do that is at least act like you don't care.

You want your man all over you, give him a reason to be, men run after the stronger women emotionally, because she doesn't need them. So be her for a week or 2 weeks and tell me if I'm wrong.

Free yourself from waiting chasing worrying, its not healthy for us, we are too lovely and wonderful to be treated this way, so lets change it up baby.

River Island on trend glamour.....

I thought it's time to bring it back to fashion now, I have had my run and shower and again ready to write my heart out. I need to tell you guys, trying clothes on and snapping isn't as easy as it may look, but I believe by doing this I bring fashion to life for you.

 

I always love shopping in River Island, Rihanna has designed for them and the outfits are a mixture for everyone. As I use the edgy word a lot, well River Island is all about Edge and Affordable glamour. I always like to write about high street, along with high end fashion as well, I like to cater for all walks of life. For me price isn't the issue, it's how great something looks and how good you can look in it.

 

So I went to River Island and tried on so many outfits, I was going crazy. So many options, I just got lots of pieces I liked and put them together to make these outfits look great.

 

 

Firstly I had to show you this black midi leather panel dress, this has just enough leather to look great. As you all know small leather details in a outfit, are a must this season and even though there is one panel in this dress, it looked and felt amazing.

 

 

 

This dress is perfect for the winter, the threadwork and net on the arms and waist gives a twist to plain black. This dress also looked great and felt very comfortable.

 

 

I wasn't very much in love with this grey dress, but I had to show you the new necklace detail River Island are going for, now you don't have to buy a necklace, just a bracelet would be fine with such outfits. 

 

 

 

Again not a massive fan of this dress but its a nice casual dress, with a necklace detail.

 

This dress was cute, what I loved about it the most was the leather piping on the neck and the slits on the arms. this can be worn out or casually, imagination is a must with any outfit.

 

This blue top and skirt is my favorite, I put this together and made the perfect look. It was comfortable and looked great, sequins are a must this season and can be worn in many ways, I personally love the sequins on this top and skirt.

 

 

This is the same skirt, but I added a soft pink top with diamante straps, this also looked great on, but I prefer the fitted blue top more gives a better shape to the body.

 

 

Here I am wearing a white top with a necklace detail, I love the white and orange contrast that they have used here. The skirt is a black pleated skirt, it didn't just look great it felt great as well.

 

 

 

 

Here is a similar style hot pink top with a gold necklace detail attached, I wore it with the same pleated skirt. A fitted skirt can be worn with this as well, This was a great look overall.

 

Here is the pleated skirt, wonderful to wear in Dubai and neighboring hot countries. 

 

This is a peplum top, again a very well coordinated necklace detail, the colour and look is sweet, some smart trousers and a fancy clutch would make this a perfect dinner outfit.

 

I love this top, ready for winter this is perfect, the colour is my personal favorite and you can wear this with leggings and jeans etc.

 

A classy winter coat, I thought it looked very Channel so I had to try it on and it did look very good. As I live in Dubai I don't see myself in this until it gets very cold here.

Last but not least, here is my winter leather jacket in the bag, I love some fur in the winter and this jacket is perfect for me. The brown is the colour I would go for, the collar makes it more classy. If your looking for the perfect winter leather jacket, this is your best buy people.

Anyway I have talked enough, I hope you enjoy these hot picks from River Island. I worked hard to put them on and off, trust me its not easy but I would walk the plank for my readers, not really I'm not crazy hahahaha only joking people. Work hard for your passions and they will come alive and become a success.

Buddha Bar dinner with the ladies.....

Hey people,

Hope you're having a good morning/afternoon, I have just had my weekly running session and showered, ready for today. I have a lot to do and wanted to start the day with blogging, at the normal time.

I swear its been such a busy weekend, yesterday was chill out day for me. Sometimes doing nothing is the best day for me, to be honest I can't do more than one day of nothing. Once you live in Dubai, each day is a day to go out and enjoy the surroundings, absorb the beauty we live in. I know lots of people say Dubai is man made, but I don't want to complain about the goodness of what man made and what god made him capable of. At least we can say man is good for something hahahaha, sorry but digging at men is so funny sometimes.  

Anyway coming to the point on Friday night it was our regular ladies night out, what we do is go for dinner and then shisha. This was by far the best night, we went to the Grosvenor House. Now this hotel is 5 star heaven, when you drive there you feel yes I want to be here, we went to dinner to the Buddha Bar.

The food was amazing, Thai food is not my favorite but I have grown to love it. I never order as I always leave it to the girls, they never fail to impress me with the starter choice and main course.

The inside of Buddha bar was very dark but words cannot describe the experience, from the entrance to the music and the table settings all were amazing. If your looking for a 5 star experience I would recommend this for sure.

The table had us all talking and service was amazing as well, They were very busy, so you definitely have to book in advance for a table. 

This was the huge Buddha himself on my left, had to take a picture. 

The reception was so sensual and amazing candle lights and total calmness.

I took a picture of the glass side of the restaurant, which overlooks the marina, you could see boats passing by, the decor and interior was just spot on and a experience you shouldn't miss out on. If your living in Dubai and haven't already been, or are about to visit Dubai, make a reservation and treat yourself to an amazing night of food and relaxation.

My training soulmate and female boyfriend, I'm not a lesbian but she rocks my world hahahaha.

We then went to Siddharta Lounge, I swear by this place it has a view to die for and a atmosphere you can't find anywhere in Dubai.

 

 

Pictures were kind of blurry, but the atmosphere had me overly relaxed.

This is one half of the girls who by the way all looked lovely, I love the way we all dress up for each other, that's in a non you know what way.

And here is the rest of the beautiful gang, these ladies look lovely and seem like they wouldn't say boo to a mouse, but I swear they are total love and laughter.

The blue lights on people and the view was just out of this world, I actually don't care that this is man made. Why do people complain enjoy the creation the creator made possible.

This is poolside, as soon as you come up the lift, the pool is right in front of you, it looked amazing.

Again the seating area indoors, it would be lovely to dine here during the day.

A clearer picture of the seating view, they have steps with pillows on them, a very modern Arab atmosphere, the weather was amazing, the breeze was perfect.

 My last selfie with Amina darling, we actually had a awesome time, I really needed this ladies night. When one is surrounded by good people only good feelings and vibes and passed on, I for one enjoy these ladies more then they enjoy them selves. No don't take it the dirty way, I swear you filthy women hahahahaha.

Anyway if you live in Dubai check this place out, and if your coming to Dubai then people just sit back,  relax and take in the goodness of Dubai.
