Eid Mubarak world,
It is Eid for the Muslim world, this is like our Christmas for the second time in the year. I had two invites this year, one for breakfast and the other for lunch/dinner.
This time last year, when I came to Dubai I didn't have any friends and Eid was sad, because I have a big family and this was my first Eid away. You can imagine for this Eid I am very happy, having made friends. This is all down to my dear friend Fatima, she is my angel in human form.
She introduced me to so many good people, and she looks after me like her own sister, I have lots of lovely friends in the UK. I was lacking that here last year, but by gods grace, now I have met so many good people, that I would be broken if I lost them.
Anyway moving to the Eid fun, I went first to my dear Lippy's for breakfast. Then went to Fatima's for lunch, all the ladies were there, we had such a blast. The best part was, no one missed out and we had such a great time.
I can safely say without offending my family, this was the best Eid I have had in my life, wonderful genuine people are like a needle in a haystack.
